Note: This class has a strict minimum participation of 8 children, as established by the instructor
Children will create sculptures, abstract and representational 3D forms, using traditional and unexpected materials. Using sculpture wire to create armatures and paper-mache to create surfaces that will be painted to make mobiles and/or standing sculptures. Students will also make ceramic sculptures using clay and glazes that will be kiln fired. Children may arrive in the art room 151 upon dismissal for a quiet time (and snack) until class begins at 3:15. Students will be escorted to the "live line" area at 4:15. Returning artists are welcome. Class size is limited. Instructor is Ms. Salz.
